Program Description: The Residential Respite Care Program provides temporary and short-term respite care and supervision to developmentally disabled (DD) children and adults.
Eligibility Criteria: Eligible consumers are individuals who have a diagnosis of Mental Retardation, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities. Referrals for In-home Respite care can be made directly by families and/or providers.
Services Offered: In Home Respite Care Program offers temporary relief to families, parents and caretakers of DD individuals who are overwhelmed with the continuous care of the disabled person. Maintain home placement of the DD individuals.
Service Area: Bounded by Roosevelt Rd. to the North, 95th St. to the South, from the Lake on the East to the Dan Ryan Expressway West.
Cost: None Service Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Program Description: Residential Respite is a short-term residential service for children 2-18 years with developmental disabilities.
The Children’s Living Centre provides long-term care for children with special needs.
Eligibility Criteria: Eligible consumers are individuals who have a diagnosis of Mental Retardation, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities. Referrals for The Children’s Living Center and Residential Respite care can be made directly by families and/or providers.
Services Offered: Children receive nurturing care and training in a home-like, state licensed, group home setting. Children enjoy recreational and social activities.
